Holmwood Revisited

Last visited Holmwood House in July.  Returned to see how the restoration is progressing. New carpets have been laid based on likely designs of the period.
The house was built in 1857-59 for James Couper a local mill owner. The architect was Alexander Thomson . The building is A listed and maintained by the National Trust for Scotland.
