Collective librarianship

Various members of the family bring books and DVDs for my parents' entertainment/pleasure. With everyone here at some point last weekend, the pile has grown and won't be tackled till the current reads (Miriam Margoyles' memoir and a novel by Carol Drinkwater) are finished.

We are becoming reluctant to watch the increasingly distressing news.
