Freesia

This is the first time I have grown freesias from bulbs. Didn't really know what to expect, but they came into bloom the other day. They smell nice, but I guess you need LOTS of them to make a decent bunch of flowers. I just have three little pots :-(

Don't like it that they need staking. I can't see the point in nature that needs a "helping hand" ... survival of the fittest and all that.

Think I'll just buy some next time from the flower shop and concentrate on other plants and bulbs instead.
