Brickwork

On my short walk this morning I passed this brick house. I was impressed by the skill of the bricklayers from whenever it was built. It was used as a mission house, a chappel of some kind but today it’s de-Christianised and used as a private summer cottage, with a lot of space for family gatherings and parties.

We sent off my relative on her last yourney this afternoon, the service was respectful and warm, meeting all of my remaining cousins again also very special, my singing and playing during the service was well received and felt good to do and, at the gathering afterwards, for a coffee and a sandwich, a lot of nice things were said to each other. A good day is over.
