Today we travelled via the inland route from Hanmer to coastal Kaikoura.

This view is only steps from our sea-facing motel, likewise the sunset photo in extras.

The extra photos include glimpses of the inland route - a touch of autumn colour, wildflowers, domestic deer farm. 
The remaining ones are from Kaikoura - incoming tide at Kean Point, evening light along the main beach and sunset from our motel.

Hopefully I am back on track to load another blip this evening. Sorry it will be two blips today and yesterday’s blip was a day late. I was just too exhausted to sort through photos after our remarkable day driving through to Molesworth Station and back to Hanmer again and of course we were travelling yesterday. 

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for the set of photos of NZ’s largest farm and the majestic surrounds. I will be in catch-up mode with your journals once I am home again in a few days.
