Last Big Game

This was not my planned blip for today but the boy proudly told all his friends it would be. What’s a Grammy to do? Tonight’s game was for first place. It was also our last home game so the eighth graders were celebrated. There were special posters for each player. The kids presented their parents with a small bouquet of flowers. It was a fun evening. The exciting game raised my BP for sure but we won 27-24. Those young men outdid themselves because the competition was fierce. As a result, Jamie and Parker’s team is undefeated for the year. This morning, we finished cross checking the taxes data and hubby should be able to finish them tomorrow. I got my chest x-ray and hubby picked up his meds. Then we met my sister, BIL and our mother for a delicious Lenten fish fry before the games. We are taking Momma home and then relaxing. Sending wishes for a quiet weekend. Try to rest your mind a bit from the war news. Pray for those who are helpless, but protect your own mental health. Thanks for stopping by. “Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.” ― Larry Bird
