Sculpture Park

H and I spent an afternoon at the Sainsbury Centre at the University of East Anglia.  We had some delicious soup with a generous wedge of salty focaccia and then headed outside to look around the Sculpture Park. Although it wasn't too cold and there was no wind the sky was dull, overcast and uniformly grey so trying to get a decent photo was very difficult.  Therefore I have settled on a mono image taken looking through one of the sculptures at the UEA buildings.
We had a lovely walk around the perimeter of the UEA Broad, and the adjacent River Wensum.  Again, not much to photograph but we enjoyed seeing some of the wildlife, namely Cormorant, mute swans, greylags, Great Crested Grebes, thrush and Robin, (who were singing beautifully), a colourful Jay and finally, a Little Grebe. It looks a promising spot to re-visit as there is a boardwalk path that I would imagine would be teeming with insect and bird life in Spring/Summer.
We rounded off our walk with a pot of tea and a tasty cinnamon flapjack back at the Sainsbury Centre Café.
