Opening up in the sunshine

The crocuses in Pollok Park have kept their petals firmly shut for most of the week but today I saw them with petals opening to enjoy the warmth of the sun. Many have been battered with the wind and heavy rain but their are still plenty that look good.

I made a terrible mistake walking, with Fouter, in one of the fields. Part of the field still had a little flooding and the ground I stood on was just like a bog and the more I tried to get out of the mud the muddier my shoes became. I hope the dried mud washes off 'cos I don't fancy putting them in the washing machine
