Funny Looking Fungi

We’re on the boat, and enjoying the peace.
The weather has been OK. Very cold wind and when we arrived it was freezing on the boat. Frank soon got the wood burner going and then we were too hot so had to open the door to the bathroom and bedroom!
We took Bella for a walk along the tow path to Skipton to try and get a newspaper as they had none at all in Morrison’s this morning. We couldn’t get one - apparently a shortage of drivers! We only get the Saturday Guardian so we missed it as apart from the main news, Frank likes to do the Sudoku and I like the magazine. 
On the way I spotted these weird fungi on a tree stump. I’m sure other Blippers will know what it is.
Bella had a smooch with her friend Ozzie the Collie who lives in a house by the canal. They can only ever say hello at the wall as their garden is below the tow path level, so Ozzie stands up tall to see Bella.

Book and bedtime now, I’ll check Blips tomorrow.

Stormy Sky

I love the colour of a dark, stormy sky
And the bright white of seagulls as they fly
Then a glint of sun shines gold on a hill
Before rain lashes down and the pot-holes fill.
Then just as quick as the downpour started
Blue skies return - empty clouds have departed.
