Mono Monday . . . Preoccupied

I was taking a shot of the papered up window and mother walked into the scene.  She was too preoccupied with her phone call to see me.   The shop behind her used to be the local wool, and material shop.  It held a good stock of wool, patterns and patchwork material.  It has gone online.  The wool and embroidery shop in Nelson went on line last year.  I liked both shops and did buy from them.  Alas it is online for me too but it is not the same as chatting to the ladies, feeling the wool, looking at the samples they had knitted up.
Thanks KangaZu for an interesting set of challenges this month.
I don't think this mother is like the mother in the song.

Mothers Little Helper                          The  Rolling Stones

What a drag it is getting old
"Kids are different today, " I hear every mother say
Mother needs something today to calm her down
And though she's not really ill, there's a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of her mother's little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day

"Things are different today, " I hear every mother say
Cooking fresh food for her husband's just a drag
So she buys an instant cake, and she burns a frozen steak
And goes running for the shelter of her mother's little helper
And two help her on her way, get her through her busy day . . .
