Dried Thistle

Soon this thistle should be back in bloom. It has so much texture after this past winter. 
We walked up to get the mail with the kids, the dog, and goats today. The weather was warm, but the wind was intimidating. This thistle caught my eye. I went back with the strobe and did an invisible black background.
