International Women's Day

A hasty blip today - and it seems apt to use a photo of Frieda, our indomitable middle grandchild, who usually spends Tuesdays with us.
She is a little bundle of energy and willpower. She had quite a bad cold today, but still found joy in toys, books and chat.  I hope she'll be able to carry all that strength and determination with her as she grows.

Thinking, too, of all the women in Ukraine - and those who have left Ukraine in recent days - struggling to look after and defend their families and friends.
