Coffee a cycle ride and a curry

We met a friend for coffee this morning, then went for a cycle ride in the sunshine.  It was good to be out on our bikes on such a lovely sunny day.

Tonight we were out for dinner again, this time with family.  My sister and brother-in-law have been staying with Mum, as they are between houses, and have put in a lot of time and effort helping her declutter prior to her move to a Serviced Apartment.  Also, it’s hubby’s birthday next week, so Mum took the four of us out for dinner as a thank you and a birthday celebration. As hubby is rather partial to curry, we went to our local Indian restaurant. I had Lamb Rogan Josh (mild) and hubby had Fish Vindaloo (Indian hot).  Mine was absolutely delicious, hubby’s would have laid me out!

Our compost facilities need a refresh, so hubby has bought a dual compartment, tumbling composter. It needs to be assembled, but I thought the box containing the parts might make an interesting blip. Hopefully, it will do what it says on the box.

Today there are 22,454 new community cases and there are now 747 people in hospital with Covid-19.  There have also been four new Covid-related deaths.
