There’s Always One

The road outside is being dug up and so the contractors have closed it for a few days. Bliss. You may have seen other posts of mine showing the traffic chaos that results from drivers getting stuck on the narrow corner outside our terrace. Every morning at school time there is hooting and shouting from frustrated motorists who forget that exactly the same thing happened to them the day before.

There are big signs well in advance warning that the road is closed. But there is always one solitary person who ignores the instructions. Here you you see that driver moving aside the sign and barrier so that they can squeeze through. I put the barrier back in place after him and then he did the same thing on the way back.

So here is my offering for wide Wednesday. Thanks to Jen for hosting.
