Robbery

Back Blip - one of several, so please bear with me!

Met friends for coffee in Bo'ness in the morning before heading to the football in Falkirk in the afternoon. The Bairns were playing bottom-of-the-league East Fife, so surely three points were all-but-guaranteed to claim that remaining play-off spot which is the only thing that can save our season.

What an insipid display, though, and we looked more like the bottom-of-the-league side than one chasing promotion. However, an unlikely goal in the last minute followed by a penalty decision that went our way in stoppage time (the only person in the ground that thought it was a penalty was the referee) gave the Bairns an undeserved 3-1 win against the visitors.

If I was an East Fife fan, I'd be screaming "daylight robbery" and I'd be right.
