Sit awhile and rest .

We went for fika with Jan and Keith’s very good friend Carin whilst they picked up their new, shiny red , hybrid Kia .
En route I took this photo . The bench wore a beautifully knitted outfit, multi coloured stripes. Our attention was caught and we had to “sit awhile and rest,” as directed by the message hand painted along the top.
We managed to fit in a couple of charity shops plus a walk on the frozen lake that Kramfors is situated by.
We passed a family who were fishing through ice holes. Someone had thoughtfully created an ice track for walkers, if you jumped you could see water moving beneath your feet, a little unsettling but our snow and ice experts assured us that it was a layer of water between ice layers that occurred after a phase of melting.
After drinking chai lattes and some folk, eating Semla we were driven home in the brand new carriage.
Mashed potatoes, Swedish cabbage salad and veggie burgers for tea and now to round off the day , a game of Mexican Trains .I expect there will be some wine on the menu too.
