Passing Time

Sometimes a scene can capture your imagination. This is part of Plymouth's waterfront today. People in prehistoric times lived in the limestone caves here and ate animals long-since extinct. Today, fossil fuels are stored in these containers and feed the endless stream of motor vehicles on our roads. A cautionary note is displayed on the quayside and a lone sailor harnesses the wind on a blue sea. I wonder what the world will look like for our children and grandchildren in 20 or 50 years from now?
