But, then again . . . . .

Knick-Knacks.

These days, my presence is required at the U3A 'Creative Writing Group' meetings. It seems that my random jottings in this journal constitute creative writing and so my input is actively encouraged.
Thank you ladies for allowing me to join your coven.
The blip is of a little display of our hostess' "Bits and Bobs."

We're a small group which today included the walking wounded:
One lady fell running for the bus this morning, having taken an oath never to run for a bus when she broke her hip a few years ago, she was a bit shaken from the experience,
Another is recovering from surgery for a retinal detachment and is justifiably feeling a little fragile; I experienced the same problem a few years ago and sincerely hope that she is feeling happier having had a sympathetic chat with the rest of us.

I was disappointed as I normally take my pictures in computer format. the computer being passed around as I read a small selection of journal entries. Today I tried taking prints and they were a disaster; pictures that looked good on screen were much too dark and the colours were grossly saturated. I shall obviously have to delve into the deep dark inside cupboards of my "Ejit's Guide to PhotoShop" and see if I can find a remedy there.
I also need to find the switch for curing lens distortion.
