Yin and Yang

Having a balanced view? Isn't that what life should be about? The white spot in the black tells us that nothing is all Yang just as nothing is completely Yin. I specialise in trying to find that white spot in the black (according to the one who knows me well!!). I look for the little bit of light in the dark, the little bit of Heaven on Earth. Even Attila the Hun was good to his mother, right?!! I went to my spin class this morning (you have to remember that I have not been to the gym or done anything more strenuous than walking and swimming for 4 weeks) and it was hard, very hard. When my heart is beating out of my ribs like a cartoon character who's just fallen in love and I'm sweating like a..........thing that sweats a lot, the only thought that comes to mind is that what I'm doing is completely Yang to the Yin of sitting and reading a book for 45 minutes. Then, as always, I look for that white spot. The exercise is keeping me fit and healthy and able to do the things I love to do. Balance restored!!!
