Post War Modern

Lots of people enjoying the Post War Modern (New Art in Britain 1945-1965)  exhibition in the Barbican Art Gallery this morning. The Barbican's exhibitions are always so well explained. This one talks about the dire state of Britain after WW2, the influx of artists from eastern Europe and the old "empire", and the recovery with Pop Art and the Swinging Sixties.
