Earrings

A couple of days ago, CleanSteve posted a picture of a brooch and the story about how it was commissioned. I loved it, looked at the jeweller's website, and fell for a pair of earrings. The jeweller modelled the earrings on a seed pod. Coincidentally the last jewellery I bought myself was another pair of earrings - cast from a seed pod in Tasmania. It's nice to have an English equivalent :-)

They are hanging on a tiny tulip that MrHCB found in the florist on the edge of the Barbican. He rarely walks past that florist without bringing something home.
