Stuff and Nonsense

Wallflower

A nicely productive few hours in the garden and greenhouse. Most of the weeding has now been done with just one bed to go which I’m hoping to get done early next week. The raised bed has been emptied of seedlings (there were only a few calendula and nigella which I potted up), fed and topped up with more compost ready for this years salad crops. The sweet pea bed has been prepared, the foxglove seedlings re-sited and the greenhouse tidied and all seedlings now fed, watered and repotted where needed.  Just the small front bed to do which shouldn’t take long…famous last words!
Todays blip is the only wallflower that has flowered. It was grown from seed last summer and has survived the winter, unlike the rest of them, which seemed to have rotted with all the rain we’ve had. I might try them again next year.

For those that are interested, I have backblipped a nice toad from yesterday if you have time to take a look.
