Challenging Each Other

Crack of dawn start to get to Lisbon for a get together with colleagues. Lovely, relaxed time, chatting and praying and seeing the impressive job that E and F have made of the building they're using for a church - this was in the youth room. When we were done, they treated us to a good lunch.

Lent verse today is, I think, impossible without God's enabling, Matthew 5v43-48:
I'm telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring out the best in you, not the worst... This is what God does. He gives his best - the sun to warm and the rain to nourish - to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty.

Gratefuls (apart from E and F's hospitality):
- speaking of rain, we prayed for rain, and it poured all the way home, and is still falling, long may it continue
- Mike driving us there and back safely
- calling in on the Anemas and finding them OK and thrilled with the rain; they have dairy cows
