York Place, Ackroydon

Akroydon is a 'model village' in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
It was founded by mill-owner and philanthropist Edward Akroyd in 1860 to house his workers. The Halifax Permanent Building Society (later the Halifax) provided the funds for the workers to buy these houses.
It is now a Conservation Area with quite a few listed buildings.
