Carolina Wren

This morning we woke up to 26°F/-3°C but it was dry and calm.

We headed off to church and attended the sacrament meeting with our new ward (congregation).

We then stayed in the chapel to be a part of the choir practice of our old ward (congregation) and to then attend their sacrament meeting today so that Kent could play the organ for them. The choir had been practicing to sing a song in sacrament meeting today and despite the changes we all wanted it to still happen and so we made sure it did. :-)

No FaceTime with the grandkids today as too many in that household are under the weather right now. :-(

Kent and I had our Corned Beef & Cabbage today even though it’s not St Patrick’s Day until Thursday. With the weather being cold it was a perfect day to put the corned beef, cabbage & potatoes in the crockpot before going to church and arriving home to a nice hot meal! We both had seconds.

By St Patrick’s Day we should be back to the summer like temperatures.
