Take Off

The carnies are intown and they were setting up this morning on the seafront as I had my walk post swim. St Patrick’s Day went into hibernation for the last 2 years, but it’s back this year with bells on. 17th March falls this Thursday and the government has gifted us a Covid bank holiday on Friday. So a 4 day break from Thursday beckons.

Then we were given a lecture on the role of the Grip.

We were divided into 2 groups of 8… one group took the crane and tried to recreate this scene



And the other group took the Gimbel and tried to recreate this scene



It’s been a full on day but very exciting and fun
