The school run

This morning we took Violet to school as she and her mummy had stayed the night last night.  In the end we also picked her up this afternoon as the person who should have done so was held up in a horrendous jam after an accident closed the M25 in both directions for some time. V was happy enough to have an extra night with us though and had great fun dressing up in one of her many outfits that we keep here.
At the top of the hill to the right of this picture is Loughton Brook Storage pond.  One day I might even make it to the top of the hill to take a photograph!
