Miller's Dale

Day 11 of Peak District Holiday

After another very wet morning, we decided to take a drive in the afternoon to Bugsworth Canal Basin. My Dad is a bit of a canal buff so it was somewhere he was keen to visit and I also though I might be able to get a nice narrowboat photo or two.

On the way we stopped off at the disused railway line at Miler's Dale. After wandering around for 10 minutes or so it was clear that it was an ideal place for blipping and I took tons of shots there. I took this one on top of the old lime-kilns. You also get a great view from up there of the two bridges which the two tracks originally went along.
