Parting is such sweet sorrow

Airports. Surely some of the most emotive places in the world. Places for joyful reunions but also sad farewells, bittersweet places for sure.

Some moments of grace today: the first PCR details being ok meaning SS didn’t have to do another test at the airport, the wonderful check-in assistant not charging for excess baggage even though the cases were well over and then managing to find a place in a fairly deserted airport that served beer/cider and chips. Glorious. Thankful for these details that made a hard day much easier.

There aren’t words enough to say what joy sakalasafari has brought to my life and my home. So I won’t even try!
