Wildlife wilderness....

the wildlife of south essex seemed to be in hiding today! Not that I blame them! There's an orange tinge to the sky today as the Sahara Dust cloud that has hit much of Europe over the past couple of days has now hit us, so there's dust over everything!

We had a little wander at the nature reserve at Canvey after we did a bit of shopping but nothing to see other than a very large container ship heading to port at London Gateway port named MSC 'Chloe' - my niece's name! I'm sure she'd love to know there's a giant ship with her name on it lol!

We noticed a couple of extra ponds at the nature reserve so i'm not sure if they've been flooded deliberately to create new areas or there's just an excess of water on the land, but they looked nice - even if the wildlife wasn't taking advantage of them!
