St Patrick's Day!

Whey-hey! The level of excitement in the Raheny household was almost reaching hysteria level. 
Not only did I don the Keano World Cup 2022 collector t-shirt but I also drew a little green shamrock on my right shoulder. Pah, it will wash off in the morning. Or not... 

While driving back from the supermarket with Mimi (and the ingredients for her green macarons) I asked her how in touch she felt with her Irishness. Very much was the answer. And the overall experience of being Irish is a positive one she reckons. She likes the fact that Irish society is overall moderate and respectful and welcoming and not prone to extremism. 
And she is dead right.
