Rain!

It’s been overcast most of the day and the temperature has dropped a little. I worked most of the morning, then cycled to my Pilates class at 1:30pm. Back home, we had a coffee before setting out to put up this week’s open home signs. Hubby also delivered some leaflets, while I gathered together some printed stats that need to be enveloped and delivered or posted.

By the time we arrived home it was raining slightly and the sky was quite a contrast to yesterday’s blue with white clouds.  So, not having had the chance to take a blip during the day, I blipped the view from our balcony - grey and wet. It’s now raining quite steadily, which is actually good because we need rain.

Daily community cases have dropped across the country, with 14,128 confirmed overnight. Similarly, the numbers in Auckland have continued their downward trend – 3,498 new cases have been announced in the region. There are now 943 people in hospital with Covid-19, including 616 in Auckland, and the number in intensive care is 25. Five new deaths have been reported.
