All of a sudden ...

.... It feels like Spring!

Sunshine.   All day.   Washing dry on the line.   Warm enough to go out without a coat.   :-)

There's still an endless list of chores and admin though.   One or two things got sorted out today but the search for suitable support for Ruth when she's in Birmingham can feel like a steep mountain to climb.   We have a meeting on Monday with someone from an agency that might be able to help but the best offer so far involves a couple of months wait while someone is recruited.  It's a catch twenty-two situation.  She can't manage there on her but to find support and meet potential helpers she really needs to be there - not here in Wales.   We've climbed a few mountains together already, we'll get there eventually.

I did get out into the garden for a little while this afternoon.   Some cyclamen seedlings potted up and a couple of pots of summer bulbs replanted.   Late afternoon Meg and I wandered down to the seafront and bumped into C and the other Meg who treated us to ice creams (doggy ones for the dogs.)   Then Meg and I meandered along the beach until sunset.   A peaceful interlude.   Busy days ahead.

Tulipa cretica, a form I raised from wild seed some years ago.   The bulbs are increasing and today I found seedlings germinating from seed they set last year.   I always try to make more of the rare plants I grow and these are a little success story.
