Toe study

These gorgeous toes belong to Gus, the Bernese Mountain Dog. Gus is 4 months old and he ate something that made him crook. I hope he's ok.

I met Gus while Jasper was inside with the vet. That's how things are done during covid. It's a small clinic so the staff come out and speak with you. The examination happens back inside while anxious "parents" wait outside.

Jasper hasn't been himself (in a low level kind of way) for a few days. A couple of times I thought he was back to normal but overall he's flat and picks at this food.

He's sore at the base of his tail, a classic cat bite location. Although the vet couldn't find a bite (difficult in black fur) that's what he's treating Jasper for.

Hopefully antibiotics and pain relief return the strut to my little mate. Everything else about Jasper is a picture of health and that's reassuring.

Today's gratitude: For the return of the sun.
