The City Of Speckled Cars

It's time for one of our excursions into Cultural Differences.

Saturday here is Go Clean Your Car Day.  We have so many carwashes here.  It really is a thing.  Go wash your car and hoover the interior.  And after the Sahara rain, there are a lot of cars that do not look pristine.  

This is too much for many car owners.  The queue in front of the car wash in Dotzheim must have been 20 cars long.  Naturally with the normal German observation of consideration of others, the entrance - which is also the exit was blocked.  No-one could get in or out.  And no-one was giving up their place trying to get in.

I'm glad I'm a pedestrian.

It's a special kind of clever that I call "rank stupidity"
