Spring is here!

Or so it seems! We had lunch outside for the first time this year and I spent the afternoon in the garden in shirtsleeves! What a nice change! Still a bit breezy though, but a lot better than it's been lately.

This morning we went down to the ferry terminal to meet Daughter One who is over on the mainland for a week. We had time for a chat and a coffee while sitting on the harbour wall watching the world go by before she caught the train for more southern parts.

I was amazed to see that since I was down the other day someone has built a second McCaig's Tower up on the hill - I don't remember seeing the planning application!
