Lonely Tree

This was taken at 6:30pm the end of a beautiful Spring day.

I started back volunteering at the vaccine centre as today was the start of the vaccination if the 5-11 year olds.. the screens were all draw with cartoon characters, there were tables had pens and colouring in papers for the kids to be amused while waiting their turn and brightly coloured bunting up the stairway to the second floor vaccinators. I must say that they were all so good, I really enjoyed my shift having the interaction with the kids.

My stomach was rumbling from about two hours into the shift (started at 8:30) so by the time I finished at 1 was reading for food. Managed to get a table sitting outside at Hinterland so had a first class seat watching the wedding party that was arriving for a ceremony at St John’s church. It was a very classy affair with some lovely dresses. But what I observed was that the majority of the ladies, mostly the younger ones) had major difficulty in walking in enormous chunky heels! With the result they waddled instead of gliding along in their beautiful dresses :). The bride and attendants arrived in vintage cars - she had a beautiful dress (thankfully not strapless they look awful unless you are the shape of a twig).

What a difference it makes to be able to sit out in the sun, it was lovely.

Up to mum with her shopping and putting Wordle on her iPad which she will have great difficulty using despite given detailed instructions Lol! Sure enough later in the evening there was a text saying she had lost the grid ……

Had an early evening walk up to the golf course which was beautiful as the sun was setting.
