A Meandering Life...

Ribes sanguineum

Spring has definitely sprung.

I spent most of the day in the front garden. The main focus of my work was removing a 10ft high bushy conifer that has outgrown its space and pushed out a number of other bushes and plants. It needed my mini chain saw, my neighbours trailer and engine lift to pull out the stump.

In its place I have planted Iris and a Magnolia bush/tree. There is now plenty of space for this Ribes sanguineum to express itself.
