Tangled Roots

I spent the morning reviewing options for our fuel supplier. Our current fixed rate finishes at the start of May and our supplier has offered us a new fixed rate for another year…trouble is that this works out to almost four times what we currently pay. The only alternative is to switch to standard variable rate, which only works out at just two and a half times our current rate - and that would be subject to the estimated 24% cap increase in October…. !!!

After lunch we went for a walk along the riverbank at Tadcaster, spotting geese, a heron and a cormorant (sadly all too far away for my little camera). For blip, I settled on this magnificent set of tangled beech tree roots growing out of the side of a hill! I liked the sun shining over the top, lighting up little patches.
