Not quite dead...

I've been meaning to walk over the fields and get closer to this lightning struck tree for a long time and today was the day...

Amazingly this tree despite the look of it still lives there are some small branches at the base and a couple on the lower right hand limb. So my happy word is 'Alive', It's great to see this ancient oak tree still clinging to life.
