My First 2022 Butterfly - A Small Tortoiseshell
We got up early this morning, well 07:00am, and decided to take a run out to Chippenham Park and Gardens. We have never been and as the Hall is only open from January (ish) till 1st April and we have forgotten to go the last few years this seemed an excellent idea.
This shot is taken with the Fuji X100V and is a grab shot. I took three shots moving closer each time. As the camera only has a 23mm lens (35mm full frame equivalent) I was getting quite close by the time it decided to depart :) While I was taking this, Sue was running around unsuccessfully after a Yellow Butterfly
