The tank is 25% full

Today has gone on a series of minor errands and mundane tasks ... although yoga class was fun.   One of the less than exciting tasks was to check the content of our LPG tank - thankfully - no great concern.  Until that is Calor come to refill it, and we find out what the current price is.  LPG (propane) is sold in two year contracts, the suppliers tend to offer a fixed price for the first year and a conditional cap on the 2nd. As you can probably imagine the system is in our sights to be replaced by an air source heat pump!

Having said that,  LPG is an oil product, so dependent on the price of crude oil ... natural gas (methane) is a separate commodity and has recently risen in price far more than oil has, so perhaps it won't be as bad as it might?

Heating Oil (kerosene) and LPG are not covered by the Ofgem price cap*
However, I imagine our government will find a way to {insert own opinion here on how they will manage to stuff this up?}
