Generosity and Forgiveness

Highlight of the day was a wine tasting at our favourite winery, Ervideira, - with a new lad, Ricardo. Nice final touch was Duarte, the Count of Ervideira himself, walking in, asking which wine we'd enjoyed the most, then walking over to the shelves and presenting us with a bottle - the Lusitano Reserva.

Lent verses were Matthew 18v21-35, the parable Jesus told about forgiveness:
Touched by his plea, the king let him off, erasing the (massive) debt.
At which point, the servant went out and imprisoned another servant who owed him a minute amount...
The thing that will give us the ability to forgive is understanding how much we've been forgiven.

Gratefuls:
- all three of us working together to give the place a clean and tidy
- Paul making us a delicious pasta puttanesca for supper
- my sweet peas coming up fast (may the slugs find other food!)
