Head in a hole

Didn't have a great sleep last night, so was very tired today.  It was such a beautiful day though, I had to drag myself out for a walk in the afternoon.  Spotted three parakeets in this tree down the road, all taking it in turns to peer in this hole.  I wonder if they're considering nesting in it?

Also discovered that the Egyptian geese have been busy while I was away - they have babies!  Hard to see how many as the mum was all puffed up and sitting over them, with just one little one toddling around.  I'd say at least three though :)
