Green Grab

I took Ollie dog's Volvo to RJ's this morning. After some work it now has an MOT. :)

We went hunting for bee-flies after lunch as the temperature was 17 degrees. I spotted one but didn't capture it. I found this green crab spider with its prey on a hazel under an oak, exactly the same place that I have seen and photographed them in 2017 and 2020.

I've added a peacock butterfly on Mahonia to extras. It isn't the first I've seen this year but it's the first I've snapped. I'm intrigued by a shape on the right of the image which looks like a pencil drawing of a winged insect.
