Not exactly crowded!

We took Granddog Oona to the beach again today, this time to Tynemouth Long Sands. We do love our uncrowded beaches around here - and today it was remarkably warm for late March even though it was partially overcast. Needless to say Oona had a great time - and we enjoyed ourselves too. We'd checked that the tide would be well out.

The conditions were slightly hazy but you can get a good view of Tynemouth North Pier (with its lighthouse) in the distance, and the ruined Tynemouth Priory on the right of the photo.
