When cars were cars

This is my die cast model in spruce green of an Austin A35.

Apart from once puncturing the oil sump on a manhole cover my real version of this was a very reliable car and when something went wrong it was easy to identify and fix. Mine was a 1957 from memory , so when I drove her she was already 25 year old.

My 6 month old Kia on the other hand……

Well let’s just say the issue is currently with Kia’s Technical department and the car is currently still at the dealership.

Sometimes less is more.
