Pruning time

This morning I went to my art group then after doing my shopping went to F’s to help with pruning his apple tree.

He was on the scaffolding doing the cutting and I was collecting the prunings and piling them up as well as making cups of tea.

When it was done we took the scaffolding down and put it away. By this time it was teatime so I cooked a pasta meal for us both before coming home.

I was glad to help in a small way as he does lots of jobs at my house.
