My GP phoned today to discuss the results of my x-ray and it seems that it's my back which is causing what feels like hip pain. I am to be referred to a back specialist and there will probably be an MRI scan. I would rather it was my hip - you can get a hip replacement, but I don't think they do back replacements yet, sadly.
