Peek-a-boo

A gardening day, morning and afternoon.  I'm like a cracked record, but while the weather is good I carry on.
Doug mowed the lawns, this little Praying Mantis landed on the bonnet of the ride-on.  Stayed there for an hour or more, then he bought him to me to photograph.
I put him on a hydrangea leaf and snapped off a few, liking this one the best. What a character he is.

20 covid deaths today, just awful.

Momentous day for outdoor events. Finally the fans are allowed back to events with no restrictions. We’re watching Super rugby from Dunedin, the “scarfies” (students) are going wild. Great to see
